My Story

Hey there! My name is Kaylee Kay (she/her) and I am a Iowan born musical theater actress currently based in Boston, Massachusetts. I will be graduating with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory in May 2024 and could not be more excited about the next chapter of my life. Since I was little I have loved to perform and sing. My mom has always told me that before I could speak full sentences, I was singing Christmas carols and songs on the radio. As I was growing up, I realized that being onstage is where I feel most at home. I was fortunate enough to do a bunch of shows at my high school and in my community - as a side gig when I wasn't doing that, I became a professional Princess and Mermaid! When I got out of high school and moved to Boston to continue my education at The Boston Conservatory, my love for performing only grew bigger and bigger with all of the opportunities that came my way. I was able to make my professional debut as "The Muse" aboard Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas in 2022. Since then, I've broadened my horizons by being a part of numerous feature films and commercials. Alongside that, I've taken part in new musical workshops and doing shows at the Conservatory. When I am not performing I love to run, read, hangout with friends/family, tap dance, snuggle with my sweet cat Eloise, and play my harmonica!
